Former DA Connick says New Orleans police chief should be fired

Former New Orleans (Louisiana) district attorney Harry Connick says police Superintendent Warren Riley should be fired.

In a letter to the editor in Friday's editions of The Times-Picayune, Connick said there are two basic responsibilities for the police chief - "the safe keeping of evidence in criminal cases and furnishing police reports in a timely manner to the district attorney."
