Madison (Wisconsin) Mayor Dave Cieslewicz and his staff have been traveling more, including overseas, without increasing the cost to taxpayers.Since he took office in 2003, the mayor and staff have made nine international trips and 39 out-of-state trips at a cost of about $25,000, a Wisconsin State Journal review of city records shows.
What's hard to assess is how much the travel benefits city taxpayers.
